Ponteland War Memorial Hall opened in 1922. Built as a memorial to the fallen of World War One, the building was paid for by the residents of Ponteland.
Today, the hall continues its role as a community centre and social hub of Ponteland and the surrounding area. We have a range of rooms available for hire for most uses.
Situated close to the very centre of Ponteland on the well known Darras Road, we have excellent transport links. Only 2 miles from Newcastle Airport and Metro with a bus stop right outside the hall.
“I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.”
Please join us at Ponteland Memorial Hall every Remembrance Sunday.
Whether you'd like to make an enquiry to book a room, make a suggestion or simply say hello. We'd love to hear from you.
If you're enquiring about prices, please have a look at our room hire page here first.
Office hours are Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday from 12 pm until 2 pm.
